Efforts continue on the Empowerment Campaign for the Virginia G. Piper Sports and Fitness Center for Persons with Disabilities. We have raised $11.7 million of the needed $13.2 million. So far, this universally accessible sports and fitness center has received generous support from the City of Phoenix 2006 Bond program and private foundations that include The Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust, the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust, the David Reese Family Foundation, Thunderbirds Charities, Kresge Foundation, the Rhett Butler Family Foundation and our most recent contributor, the Wells Fargo Foundation.
